Penelope Lisi

With a BA (Hons) in Media and Cultural Studies from the London College of Communication and a Master of Gastronomy from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy, I’ve built my career at the intersection of my biggest passions: food and communication. After many work experiences in communications within the food industry, in early 2021 I took on the role of Press & Media Relations Manager at Massimo Bottura's Francescana Group, in Modena. In 2024, I left Modena and moved to Bangkok, Thailand taking on the role of PR & Communications Manager for Sorn, as a representative of Fissore + Barker agency in Asia. Now back in my hometown of Florence, I work as a freelance PR & Communications specialist, continuing the collaboration with Fissore + Barker. My passion for photography is a constant companion, capturing the stories and moments that inspire my life and work.

Reencountering Radicchio

Bitter food, bitter soul. At a thousand-seat table in San Patrignano, radicchio became a moment of truth between two sisters. What once tasted like poison now carried healing, softness, and strength. A story of taste, pain, and reconnection over a plate of raw leaves and tender cheese.

If your brain is filled with obscure food facts, historical bites, and culinary debates, welcome home.
